At 4:30 PM on April 11, the Lawrence Committee held a monthly Town Hall meeting over Zoom. The following are the minutes of that meeting.
- The Lawrence Committee has a newly elected Garden Events Manager: Angelique Sayler.
- The garden kick off occurred on April 13th and included the introduction of the new Lawrence greenhouse.
- The Committee will also be installing shelves in the greenhouse.
- The Committee is working with the University to ask Amazon to make sure packages are placed under awnings to prevent them from getting wet in the rain.
- The Committee requests that residents bring in packages from outside when possible to assist fellow community members.
- Residents can also submit complaints to Amazon if packages are left out in the rain.
- New community laundry room guidelines have been placed in the Lawrence laundry rooms. The Committee asks that residents read the signs and follow the rules outlined so that the laundry rooms can be well maintained for the whole community.
- A representative from the Office of Sustainability will be joining the next Lawrence Committee Town Hall on May 9 to discuss upcoming sustainable move out events. There will tentatively be a sustainable move out pick up date at Lawrence on June 28th.
- If residents have questions or are interested in getting involved, we would love to see you there.
