Princeton University

Administration

The Lawrence Apartment Community has several key components:

The Lawrence Committee is the apartments’ community government, an elected body composed of residents who help oversee social events, maintenance of community facilities, and act as liaisons to the University. The Lawrence Committee’s jurisdiction extends to matters immediately relating to Lawrence Apartments but not necessarily broader university policy. Minutes for the monthly committee meetings can be found here.

Housing and Real Estate Services oversees Princeton’s housing more generally — including the lottery system, contracts, move-in, landscaping, and other residential amenities.

The Graduate Student Government (GSG) is an assembly of graduate students in charge of communicating between the graduate student body and the Princeton administration. The Lawrence Committee’s external relations delegate attends regular GSG meetings.

The Lawrence Garden is a student-run community garden that is open to all residents.
