At 4 PM on October 11, the Lawrence Committee held a monthly town hall meeting over zoom. The following are the minutes of that meeting.
- The Committee discussed the formation of the Lawrence Election committee.
- Deepen Garg, Jessica Wilson, and Kevin Fleming have formed the election committee. Please email them (not the committee) with any questions regarding the election.
- Self-nominations are open at this form through Oct 24, Monday 11:59 pm. Election results will be announced on November 8, with the voting period comprising the week and a half prior.
- The Committee discussed additional amendments to the Lawrence Constitution, but will hold off on further discussion since the next committee would be passing them.
- The application for a room change is open on housing’s website through November 1.
- The building 12 play area has been re-fenced by facilities, since the prior fencing was in disrepair.
- Housing is working with the committee to install shelving to organize packages in the building 1 lobby.
- The Lawrence secretary has set up a listserv for Lawrence spouses so that they can also receive committee emails. Please keep your eyes peeled for more details.
- The committee has acquired funding for the following social events in October
- A bonfire on October 27, preceded by a mixer for Lawrence Spouses.
- Halloween on October 30th.
- A marathon cheer party November 13th.
