Lawrence Committee November 2025 Town Hall Minutes

Dear Lawrence residents,

At 4:30 PM on November 13th, the Lawrence Committee held a monthly Town Hall meeting over Zoom. The following are the minutes of that meeting.

· We are happy to announce the results to the committee election!

o   President: Chloe Wheeler

o   Secretary: Yinshan Shang

o   Social Chair: Tabreya Ryan

o   Facilities Manager: Giovanna Amorim

o   Garden Coordinator: Leafy Ye

o   Garden Events Manager: Angelique Sayler

o   External Relations Delegate: Céleste Pagniello

o   Grants Manager: Yun Choi

·        Amenities Survey

o   People asked for staplers in the printer rooms. There should already be staplers there. We are looking into it.

o   We are working on storage solutions for outdoor amenities

o   New board games are on the way!

o   We are evaluating the possibility of having a foosball or a folding ping pong table in one of the common rooms

·        Bus-stop breakfasts

o   Very cold but decent turnout; about 30ish residents stopped by 🙂

·        Common room artwork

o   Artwork done by residents has been put up in common rooms. Thanks to everyone who submitted their art!

·        Amazon package misdelivery

o   Request from mail services: send pictures with tracking numbers to the external relations delegate when Amazon misdelivers your packages. Thanks!

·        Clothing donation collection box

o   Nov 14th to Dec 5th there will be a clothing donation bin in the Lawrence 1 mail room

o   There will be a clothing swap event 12pm – 4pm on Sunday, Dec 7th

·        Abandoned clothes in Lawrence 14 laundry room will be removed

·        TV subscriptions

o   A reminder that Lawrence 14 has cable

o   The Lawrence 1 tv has an apple tv, but no subscriptions at the moment

·        A hose has been purchased for the parking lot. It can be put out on the spigot in the spring.

·        Better for birds window decal installation for Lawrence 14 common room

o   A new decal is on the building 14 common room window to prevent birds from flying into it. It looks wonderful! Go take a look if you get a chance.
